Bradford

The University of Bradford is Yorkshire’s number one University for students who go on to obtain professional and managerial level jobs. Hull

The University of Hull is a popular destination for students, with its state of the art facilities which have recently had over £100 million investment. It is the home of an award winning Student’s Union and scores highly in both domestic and international student satisfaction polls.

Hull has recently been named the City of Culture and has lots to offer anyone coming to study here. With shopping, pubs, clubs, comedy and live music venues, parks, restaurants, cinemas and casinos there is something to do seven days of the week. With excellent transport links to local seaside resorts and the surrounding areas there is plenty to see and do.
The area known as Newland close to the University has seen a lively student influenced culture grow with coffee shops, restaurants and relaxed bars. Acknowledged as a safe and friendly area to enjoy your student life.

Leeds

With more than 60,000 students studying at the various establishments of Leeds Metropolitan University, The University of Leeds, Leeds Trinity and Leeds College of Art, the city of Leeds is one of the biggest and most popular student locations in the U.K. With such a large student population, Leeds has something to offer 7 days a week catering to all tastes. There are nightclubs with a wide array of student nights (even on a Sunday), bars, restaurants, leading theatres and iconic galleries. During the day you can explore Leeds’ newest state of the art shopping centre, enjoy walks through the country in the Yorkshire dales or immerse yourself in Leeds’ vibrant music scene.

With accommodation just a short walk from the Universities and city centre, Kexgill Leeds is situated at the heart of Leeds’ favourite student community of Hyde Park. Liverpool

Liverpool is one of the most popular and affordable places for students to come to study and enjoy life. Kexgill offer accommodation to all students at the various Universities in the city and are no more than a fifteen minute walk away from any campus.

Our accommodation in Liverpool is always fully occupied due to our high standard of service and the quality of the accommodation we provide. Most of our properties have obtained the Gold Standard Award from Liverpool Student Homes and we are CLASS (Citywide Landlord Accreditation Safety Scheme) certified by Liverpool City Council. We are proud to say that we have won the ‘Best Landlord’ award in the ‘Rate Your Landlord’ awards (voted for by students) in both 2013 and 2014.

The accommodation we provide in Liverpool is houses which vary in size from three to six bedrooms. Modern, All rents are fully inclusive of electricity, gas, water and WIFI. All of our properties have excellent links to public transport, particularly useful for tenants on placements.

Our office is open Monday to Friday (except bank holidays), and our welcoming, experienced and knowledgeable office staff are here to help you choose your accommodation and assist you during your tenancy. We also have our own highly qualified maintenance team who give an excellent rapid response, usually same day, to all repairs. We also provide a 24 hour call-out service, which means that any of our tenants can contact us at any time.

Entertainment in Liverpool is second to none and caters for all tastes seven days a week. There are numerous multiscreen cinemas, theatres, a bowling alley and restaurants with a range of international cuisine. There are museums, art galleries and many outdoor festivals and activities throughout the year. Liverpool is within easy reach of Manchester, St. Helens, Wigan, Southport, The Wirral and Chester.

Shopping in Liverpool is a must from the usual shopping precincts, discount and High Street stores to the more select Cavern Walks, Met Quarter, Liverpool One and Albert Docks plus the Continental outdoor Christmas markets.

Middlesbrough

Teesside University (former winner of the Times’ University of the year award) is at the heart of Middlesbrough’s buzzing Town Centre. It has a modern and vibrant campus which is undergoing over £200 million worth of investment and modernisation. It is the home of an award winning Student’s Union and scores highly with student satisfaction polls.

Middlesbrough is one of the most affordable places to live in the U.K.  It has a bustling nightlife with something to do 7 days a week. Middlesbrough has shops, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, comedy clubs, multi-screen cinemas and bowling alleys. With excellent transport links it is situated close to the neighbouring cities of Newcastle, York and Leeds. As well as this you can travel easily and quickly to both the seaside and countryside. It is the perfect place to study and live.

Preston has excellent transport links, with an excellent train and bus network. Manchester and Liverpool are just 50 minutes away. Preston has a bustling student community with an excellent nightlife with most student bars situated in and around Frairgate. There always something going on somewhere with pubs, clubs, restaurants, cinemas and shops, Preston is the perfect place to study and live.

Salford

Kexgill Salford offers accommodation which is within a short walk of the University of Salford’s Peel Park and Adelphi campus’. The third campus located in Salford city centre is easily accessible using the free bus service that the University provides. We are also well located to provide accommodation for those studying at both Manchester Metropolitan University & the University of Manchester, with bus and train services providing easy and reliable transport from Salford to Manchester.

Salford has a thriving student community and has nightlife to suit everyone with pubs, restaurants, comedy clubs, casinos and many other activities nearby. Not forgetting our close transport links to Manchester, known for its thriving atmosphere and night life, there is plenty to do including bowling, cinemas, shopping, eating, drinking, paint-balling, laser quest, theatres, go-karting, museums and art galleries.

Kexgill Salford offers a wide variety of accommodation from complex apartments to houses. All accommodation comes complete with televisions and television licences, burglar alarms and bills inclusive rents. We have en-suite rooms available and off street parking at many sites. Stockton

Durham University, Queen’s Campus (former winner of ‘WhatUni’ awards for: ‘Courses and Lectures’ and ‘Clubs and Societies’) is located on the modern waterfront setting on the banks of the River Tees.  Queen’s Campus is home to two of the University’s colleges (John Snow and Stephenson) is has the new multi-million pound Queens Campus Sports Centre, boasting some of the best sports courts in the country as well as a state-of-the-art fitness suite.

Stockton’s busy town centre offers all the familiar high-street shops, two malls, great restaurants, bars, comedy clubs and regular markets. Stockton is also home to ARC the University partnership arts venue.  ARC houses two theatres, a cinema, a dance studio, three bars and a restaurant, and hosts a variety of productions including Queen’s Campus student performances.  In addition, the nearby Teesside shopping and leisure complex offers a huge variety of well-known stores and restaurants, a multiplex cinema and bowling.

Situated in three University neighbouring areas, all our accommodation is within walking distance of Durham University’s Queen’s Campus; our accommodation is perfectly located (closer to campus than halls in many cases).  From waterside Mews properties to large HMO licenced properties we can offer University Accredited accommodation in the heart of a friendly and vibrant academic community.

About Us

hockey teamFor over 36 years Kexgill have been changing the perceptions of student accommodation in the UK. To rent from us we want to make it easy then easier still. All inclusive and with the best available broadband internet are a given.

Our tenants must feel safe and genuinely part of a friendly “club” to get the most out of University life. All our offices are close to the Universities staffed by friendly teams always on hand for a chat. If there is an award to won as voted by students we usually win it.

Every year we sponsor University teams and clubs because it is nice to give something back. It is active sponsorship supporting matches and providing trophies.

We are constantly upgrading interiors to give you the best environment to socialise and study.
