Pancake day is here. One our favourite days!
Do you know how to make the perfect pancake? Try our recipe below which is both inexpensive and fool proof. After that it’s up to you what to top it with? Nutella? Sugar and lemon? Beans and cheese? We thought was a bit weird when mentioned in the office.
Classic Pancake Recipe
100g Plain Flour
2 large eggs
Pinch of Salt
Oil (For frying)
- Put the flour, eggs, milk and salt into a bowl. Whisk until it is smooth. Leave to settle for 20 minutes before cooking.
- Place a lightly oiled large frying pan over a medium heat. When oil is hot pour a thin layer of mixture around the pan. Cook for around 1 minute each side. Flip if you’re feeling adventurous.
- Serve with whatever toppings you’d like!
